SHE'S ONE NEXT MONTH!?

Toothy eyeless smile of this eleventh month old

For some reason this month, there were so many good monthly mark shots I had a hard time deciding which one to put up. Daughters really do give their best smiles to their fathers. Scroll to the end of the post to see the other photos if you like. But for now the month's lowdown -

Humblet Statistics -

Height: 72cm
Weight: 9kg
Feet Size: 13.5cm

I know this last information now because we finally bought her a proper pair shoes. A second hand pair, from the brand See Kai Run. Soft brown leather with soft padded soles to help her protect her feet as she cruises around. Nope, still not walking, but making very amusing attempts to stand. E.g. balancing on one hand as if she were walking on a tightrope.

Memorable moments -

The past month has be full (or should I say plagued) with moments to remember.

a. Humblet being hospitalized, not once but twice due to a prolonged fever.
b. Enjoying her first church camp with the family.
c. Falling asleep on her first visit to the zoo.

Mini milestones -

1. Starting to eat rice mixed into her porridge - more in the upcoming meal post
2. Learning how to drink from a cup - we discovered this when she rejected her straw bottle during the hospital saga
3. Using this ikea stool as a walker everywhere - we found her in the service yard once
4. Packing and passing - we discovered that she now can pass us toys whilst we are packing, how useful!
5. Clapping and cheering - try it when you see her next time, but do relay instructions in Chinese for humblet to take effect

Despite all the craziness of this past month, we are still extremely grateful. After all, she happy and well enough to be playing with her friends and going to Sunday School again. May this month be less eventful.

The photos as promised -

And that's all from us and little humblet for this month's baby bumps. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Grateful,
Amy
